MARJAN TEEUWEN

Marjan Teeuwen is a Dutch artist who makes architectural installations in abandoned buildings and makes photo montages based on these installations. The work of Marjan Teeuwen is about construction and destruction. First she starts to demolisch, stripping buildings to its bare essence. Then she rebuilds them, layer by layer, into a new sort of architectural reality.

Cityscapes Gallery is proud to collaborate project based with artist Marjan Teeuwen. Cityscapes offers Marjan Teeuwens monumental photo series VERWOEST HUIS BLOEMHOF. In the XXL Bloemhof series Marjan Teeuwen reconstructs the sublime installation that she made in a demolition house at the Putse Bocht in Rotterdam Zuid.
